ADMISSION GUIDE
|

Pre-Admission
|
|
|
Your doctor and nursing team will make the necessary bookings for your admission
|
|
|
Kindly approach our Business Office Counters situated in the Hospital Lobby (Ground Floor) to confirm your admission
|
|
|
Room type and availability will be confirmed on the day of admission. If your preferred room type is unavailable, we will endeavour to offer you a transfer once your preferred room becomes available
|
|
|
Please remember to bring along all the necessary documents including your insurance card, claim forms or guarantee letters
|
|
|
For corporate and insurance clients, an appropriate deposit amount may need to be collected
|
|
|
For self paying clients, an 80% deposit of the estimated total cost of admission will be collected
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Surgical Admission
|
|
|
You must fast(nothing to eat or drink) for at least 6 hours prior to your surgery
|
|
|
Please continue to take your usual medications(unless instructed to otherwise by your doctor)
|
|
|
You will be given instructions about admission timing based on the time of your surgery
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Ambulatory Care Centre Admission Time
|
|
|
Please arrive at least 2 hours before your scheduled procedure time
|
|
|
You must arrange for an adult to accompany you home after your procedure if you require sedation or anaesthetic
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

To avoid any delays, kindly bring along these documents (if applicable):

MYKAD/ Passport/ Birth Certificate(Please note that next of kin/ Spouse/ Parent’s identity card may also be required)

DISCHARGE PROCEDURE
|
Our hospital discharge time is 12 noon. An additional half days’ surcharge may apply for late discharges. Discharges after 8pm will incur an additional full day’s charge
|
|
|
Please note that once your doctor completed the discharge notifications, it may take up to 2 hours to prepare your bill and medications. This may be longer if we have to confirm your the final bill with your insurance company
|
|
|
Discharge payments can be completed either at the Business Office located in the hospital lobby (ground floor) or in your hospital rooms (for in patients doing full card payments)
|
|
|
All charges must be paid in full upon discharge
|
|
|
If your deposit amount is greater than your hospital charges, a refund will be processed once the bill is finalised. If your deposit was made by credit card, it will be refunded to your credit card. For cash and cheque payments, a refund cheque will be issued
|
|
|
Please follow your doctor’s advice with regards to driving. Following some procedures, you may not be able to drive for days or weeks. You may be required to update your car insurer about your recent admission
|
|
|
|
VISITING HOURS
|
Visiting hours are from 9am to 9pm
|
|
For patient’s safety, entry to all wards are via staff access cards only
|
|
|
We encourage visitors to allow patients to rest whilst they are in hospital
|
|
|
Next of kin who wish to stay overnight will need to register with the nurse in charge on the ward
|
|
|
Children under 12 years old are not encouraged to visit
|
|
|
In the High Dependency Unit, only one visitor is allowed at any time during visiting hours
|
|
|
Nursery is only open to parents with their babies in the unit. Strictly no other visitors are allowed in the nursery. Visitors are welcome to wait in the mother’s room and visit mother and baby together
|
|
|
Any visitors who are unwell should refrain from visiting. Patients who have been admitted to the isolation wards will only be allowed visitors under the supervision of the nurse in charge and with the permission of the responsible doctor
|
