Dr Sharifah received her medical degree from the University of Southampton, the United Kingdom in 2010. She went on to complete her specialty training and obtained her membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (MRCOG), the United Kingdom in 2019.
 
Before joining Kensington Green Specialist Centre, she also practices at the Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru.
 
Apart from practising clinically at her current hospital, Dr Sharifah has a passion for teaching and is appointed as an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Medicine & Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia. Dr Sharifah is also an Educational Supervisor for the MRCOG Parallel Pathway.

The range of conditions that can be referred to Dr Sharifah includes but is not limited to those listed below:
 
General Gynaecology: Fibroids, Endometriosis, Polycystic Ovaries, Heavy and Irregular Menstrual Bleeding

Obstetrics: Antenatal, Peripartum and postpartum care
